Jennifer is an author based in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Moments in Between is her first book. The inspiration behind this book came to her in 2020, when she had newly relocated to Chicago, knew almost noone and was preparing to become a family of four. Learning to live in the extreme cold and snow was already a huge adjustment, particularly for someone who grew up in Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. Above that, the world went into lockdown due to the covid pandemic and she became stuck at home with her toddler son and newborn daughter, every minute of every day. That was a very long year. It was chaotic and a struggle, but also an extremely beautiful time of their lives. One she fondly remembers and fills her with nostalgia. 

Her two children have grown up a lot since then. With some time back to herself, Jennifer enjoys reading, writing, volunteering for various causes and going on family vacations.
